Passion For Fashion, is what my blog says about me.

For me fashion is not about the brand, it's about the person who designs it. Have we ever really thought about When , Why , What, that made the designer who they are today. The Answer is no not really, because its more about the brand name on it, and what's hot in fashion now . I believe behind every designer, there is an amazing story on their road success in the fashion industry.

On Saturday I had the pleasure of meeting HBD101 winner and Handbag Designer Aimee Kestenberg at her trunk show at Let's Bag It Store In Merrick, New York. Aimee is such an amazing and talented young woman.
Aimee Kestenberg’s unique training as both an industrial and accessory designer has distinguished her among her peers: Her 3-D vision of objects gives her the ability to create designs that are not only beautiful but functional, the magic combination for today’s modern woman. Hailing from Australia, Kestenberg moved to New York to attend the prestigious Parsons The New School for Design. While at Parsons, she completed design internships with luxury brands that included Ralph Lauren, Jill Stuart and Alexander McQueen. For 3 years, Kestenberg apprenticed at The House of Couture, where she was the protégé of one of New York’s master craftsmen and was trained in the skills and techniques required to master the construction of couture accessories. I Created this set with what I wore to meet Aimee on Saturday, I actually do won the ballet flats from @h&m the invicta watch i got for my birthday and the Chanel sunglasses where a gift from my sister, lucky me. I am wearing Aimee's gorgeous foldover snakeprint Rachel tote bag. Aimee's bags will be soon sold@macys and @nordstrom . To see more from her collection visit her online storehttp://www.AimeeKestenberg.com
