| One church that holds a very special place in my heart, St . Peter and Pauls Church. Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, Ireland. My hometown church, the church where I recieved my first Holy communion, my confirmation, and the Church where I got married, it is such a beautiful old church, and holds alot of precious memories for me. |
We all have a place where we go, to find that inner peace we need to continue with our everyday lives. Whether its work, raising a family,school or a personal crisis we are dealing with or maybe its all of these together. We all need a special place to go to, to release the stresses and unload. For some it's a spa, the gym or a vacation that helps you to relax. But for me it's a church, yes I know you're saying a church, that's right a church. For me a church is the one place where i feel closer to God, and I talk to him and ask him to help me get through my everyday life and to guide me through the bad times, and you know what so far he has heard me and answered me. I know it may sound strange and maybe it is, but when I'm in church a deep feeling of inner peace washes over me, that I feel Gods presence beside me , letting me know everything is going to be alright. I would love to know where you find your inner peace.
